International City? Jun 07, 2007
Hi,

I am looking for accommodation in Dubai willing to pay AED 70,000 for the year.

International city seems the only place we will get an apartment for around this figure.

What is international city like?

Is it possible to find a place in sports city for this much?

you can easily get a 1br for 50k in int city, studio for less and it is far from 100% occupancy

for 70k you might score a 1br in bur dubai or deira-- you may have more options than you think

I looked at 1 bed apartments in IC. for 70k you should be able to get a 1bed apart in the CBD area where you will have facilities such as a pool. You will struggle to find the smae i Bur Dubai under 75k.

By the way Sports City isnt built yet!!
Apartments are likely to be ready by end of 2008.

International City isn't going to be the classiest place to live, and that is being polite.
I know of several buyers that have bought apartments there for use as 'staff accommodation' - several lowly paid people sharing a room.
Multiply that possibility by a couple of thousand rooms and you can compute your own result....

You might get a studio in the Greens or Dubai Marina for that. Better than 1 bdrm in Int City. Or try Discovery Gardens, some of it looks close to being finished.
