Hi, sorry if I have posted this in the wrong forum..... but is it possible to get a 2 week holiday visa if I have a hotel booking in advance? Thanks

Pretty sure you get a 60 day visa on entry if you're from South Africa.

Thanks Ian. Sorry if I sound totally thick :roll: but do I need to arrange a visa bfore arriving in Dubai or do I get issued one when arriving?

I think you need to arrange one? South Africa not on the list on countries that can get a visit visa on arrival in Dubai.

But a tour operator can arrange a Tourist Visa for you (not the same as a Visit Visa). Check with your travel agent/airline.

You can get it on arrival, its a treat given by Dubai fo some nationality...

Ok this one is confusing.

Just asked a Saffer, and he said, he didn't when he arrived, but some friends recently 'ran into trouble' at the airport.
