hmmm well ive never had to deal with any local kids... That's because you are wearing an abaya and from what I have seen, the "ladys first" culture still exists in Dubai. Many cutures are not used to this. All nationalities do it, just some more than others. The responses that I get (when...

Emaar banned the distribution within their communities. I can guess why, but why really? The most credably story is that it is punishment for alledgedly mis-quoting the Sheikh Khalifa. I still don't know what all of the fuss was about, but it must have been a good enough excuse to have them banded ...

I wouldn't put it past them - they aren't big fans of Iran and hence on this issue they are completely in line with the USA. As much as Saudi may like to see Iran suffer, they need a high oil price to fund their ever increasing costs, and this is of far greater importance to them. Anyway, America i...

In general, rent is more negotiable than in other parts of the world. But this is only because the market is constantly changing and values have not stabilised yet. If you are dealing witha rental agent, it will be difficult because they have their own agenda and keep the landlord out of negotiation...

Depends on whether covering costs are more important than keeping the US happy. :) Cheers, Shafique exactly, last time saudi wanted to keep the US happy (read 1991 gulf war) they incurred so much public debt that they just recently paid off. Nice conspracy theory but way too far fetched for me. You...

You just take exception to our apparent 'complex' which you think means we think the US will 'force Saudi to lower the price of oil'.Shafique Shafique, I didn't take exception to what you and Maad said. I just didn't agree with you. Yes, Force was probably the wrong word to use. The US can't force ...

A study was done by Dr Billings who is a world leader in natural contraception.

I am not aware of any studies that have been done on how radio frequencies (typically radar) effect sperm. This is my personal observation.

Re: Kangroonistan(Australia) .........watch how do they win

what makes it more surprising is that it was more in the time when "Sportmanship" was still considered a part of the game. Not exactly. One day cricket was a rebel breakaway in it's early days and didn't demand the same respect from the players as in test matches. Although this is no excu...

Go to any golf club in Dubai and ask a cross-section of members which nationality/s are know for cheating.

Most of the time you will get the same answer and it won't be Australians.

Re: Abu Dhabi get a Grand Prix

See Abu Dhabi has got an F1 grand prix starting 2009. I know Mubadala have links to Ferrari, but would have thought it would be more sensible to have in Dubai, there's more hotels/ infrastructure here to support bigger events. Good news for the UAE though. Dubai burnt their bridges when Sheikh Makt...
