dr d, why eyes are teary after sneezing?
The eyes actually play an important part in the role of sneezing. Fluid in your sneeze partly comes from your eyes through small tubes, and after sneezing the eye needs to relubricate and fluid up, hence they water.
This is helpful if you feel you have something small in your eye, it can often be dislodged or removed by blowing your nose.
