It depends, if he is under 25, then no, there's no way a sub-25 can hold their cool when talking to a girl he likes. He's not into you.
If he's over 25 then he's just playing it cool, doesn't want to rush things, might be a bit stand offish himself.
If he's 25 exactly, he's probably gay. Nobody would say they were exactly 25.
