What song do you listen to right now?

Flying_Dutchman

Jawohl mein führer!

Wir trinken alkohol!

Oh good, for a moment I thought the 'wir fahren gegen England' song was coming up.

Those German schlagers, reminds me of the beer fest. I am always impressed how many beers the Bavarian women can carry.

Trink, trink, Brüderlein trink,
Laß doch die Sorgen zu Haus!
Trink, trink, Brüderlein trink,

I HATE HIM!!!! His voice is like running fingernails across a blackboard!!!

I have to agree with Bora here, he's 'affected' 😮

😂

As they say in my neck of the woods, there's nowt the matter with Will Young!

How about Ed Sheeran? He is a bit of a ginger though.

A warning about drug use 😢

And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since 18
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
Cos we're just under the upperhand
And go mad for a couple of grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
An angel will die
Covered in white
Closed eye
And hoping for a better life
This time, we'll fade out tonight
Straight down the line

Heaven forbid I would ever post such a song on the forum FD! wash your mouth out 😮 Did you know that Winston Churchill had that song translated and included within an English-German Phrasebook, a copy of which every German POW received, as their journey ended while entering an English prison camp?

A Dutch song. 'She believes in me' from Andre Hazes. He died a few years ago. He was a very sad man, good for nothing. He had one amazing talent. He had a very limited vocabulary, but man he could move people with his lyrics. Never witnessed this before and after anywhere. Even the must hardened criminal weakens with his songs.

His songs are still sung in numerous pubs every weekend.

Heard this on the radio recently;

http://www.youtube.com/caroemerald

Occasionally an artist comes along whose innate understanding of their sound and aesthetic marks them out as a true original. Caro Emerald is one such artist. Building on the tremendous reaction to her debut single 'Back It Up', 2010 has been a year to remember for Caro Emerald as her lyrical tales of romance and deception over a blend of Samba, jazz, bossa nova, mambo and crackling vinyl have seduced fans wherever she has played.

Count me in!

I heard 'Hope there's someone' again on a film soundtrack recently and it's profound lyrics had no less effect on me than they did when I first heard the song in 2005.

I quite liked some of Amy Winehouse's music but was never a big fan of the person. I always thought she was a bit of a freak and not a very good role model at all. I don't get this Amy Winehouse Foundation charity thing. I'd rather give my money to 'Help For Heroes'

But I do like this track, it's lovely. What a silly girl she was.

That's Andy's personal top twenty. He didn't like my Abba contribution so deleted it. What's up with Dancing Queen? It get's all the dads up at weddings. --- Tue Dec 20, 2011 3:47 am --- Bethsmum ,

OMG i'm talking to myself 😀

I like this song. Not so much the singers who do an OK job, they are the winners of Xfactor.

Rihanna is trying to reconcile with Chris Brown. I am not sure if they are back together though. He beat the crap out of her. Why would she even considering going back? Why do people in general go back to an abusive relationship? Whats the attraction? Its not rare women go back or stay in an abusive relationship and men can have this attraction to the femme fatale that destroys them and yet they keep on coming back for more. Is it because average is boring, because of the excitement or perhaps the need to fix?

This is the song from Rihanna that was released right after the breakup with Chris Brown, Russian Roulette, symbolizing her relationship with him. Why does she want to play Russian Roulette again?:
