Selam Alejkum,
I'm new to these forums. I'm a 22 year old Bosnian Muslim graduating with a Masters Degree in Network Security from the U.S.A. and hopefully looking for work in Dubai :). Although I must admit it seems to be very hard to find work for IT unless you know people.
I'm curious to know if sites such as and JobsinDubai or actually work?
Although I must say the testimonials on are pretty funny since they forgot to replace "Dot Link's" With their own .com links which tells me that they are indeed fake testimonials. Also I've read that jobhunters cannot charge money for recruiting? Any help and hints would be greatly appreciated.

Greeting Senad and welcome to the forum from a fellow newby (well kind of!).
All I can say about job websites is beware! Some of them are fake (like ) - and you are right, no reputable firm will charge an individual for finding you a job - the recruitment agencies will make their commission from the hiring company.
Have a look through some of the previous posts in the recruitment section - you'll get a vibe for who's fake and who's genuine!
Good Luck
Senad
Thank you for the kind greeting!
Is there a better way to find jobs besides recruitement agencies? Like local newspapers in English we can read and send our resumes to? I may be looking for a job early but I am really interesting in coming to Dubai and working.

Welcome
Check out the websites of the 2 major newspapers: Gulfnews and Khaleej Times. They have appointments sections.
