I was wanting to know the best way to set myself up financially in regards to opening bank accounts & transfering my dubai salary into my australian accounts. Is there any info i need to know about avoiding tax?

Most, if not all, banks should transfer money to Oz. For a fee. Maybe ANZ Grindlays (here) is cheaper. You usually can't open a bank account in the UAE until you have residence visa (there's another topic about that somewhere). Here's a .
