i am new here. i am from germany and would like to move to dubai. i think its must be great to beeing in a so fast growing city like dubai.
this forum is one of the best i have seen. congratulation to everybody here im forum.
to myself. i am working in an investment bank as an accountant in germay. The salaries in germany are not the best, i have to pay 43 % tax and insurance.
does anybody know about the demond on german speakers with accountant experience.

only 43% thats not that bad! Here we pay 40% income tax when you hit the top bracket (which is an incredibly low NZ$60k p.a. about dhs130k)
Then if you want to spend your money you pay a 12.5% GST (general service tax) on all goods and services.
Then if you want to buy petrol, cigarettes or alcohol to name a few they are loaded with additional taxes
Im definitely looking forward to the tax free environment!! :D

Yes originally from India........... presently located at Bangkok. Planning to move to ME countries. Any suggestions to look for job? I am a finance professional with 17 years experience (of which 13 years in bangkok)!
