Hi Everyone,
I am, javid 23 year old indian male.
Its been 2 weeks since i have come to dubai to look after my business. Have to admit actually i am finding it a bit difficult to settle down here coz its been work work work.prior to comin here i lived in london and did my studies over there so i am kind off used to hanging around with friends n partyin all the time, so since its a sudden change, its difficult to get used to. iam lookin to make friends here in dubai so that i can get to know people n hang out with them over the weekend. and hey guys can you please let me know happenin places here in dubai where you go and meet people n stuffs?? iam sure you will find me interesting once you get to know me...so...give it a shot....

i've found it very easy to make friends....never really had a problem with it.

i dont know what everyone is complaining about they cant make friends. you can't make friends by sitting at a computer talking about how your not making friends.
get off your bum, go out, and socialise with....as shocking as it may sound...people. then, you will make friends.
and before anyone says anything about me be online a lot and that i should take my own advice --- im not looking to make friends. im not big on the whole people socialisation thing and id much prefer to be alone most of the time.

on a serious matter i think that making friends in dubai or back home must be quite the same thing...if u r the friendly type and r eager to meet new ppl.

well, for gurls... usually it is easy to make friends...
for guys... it is hard... outside the work circle

all my friends are guys..well almost all...
and i hadnt approached any of them...
i think the problem with some of those people who say they are lonely and cant make friends is the fact that they dont want to approach anyone -- not because of their gender.

When guys approach gurls... gurls do complain they are pushy or give them a bad look..
When gurl approaches a guy... she always greeted with a nice smile, and a simple. "sorry no" if not possible.
the fact that all your friends are guys... it proves it, it is easy for the gurls to make friends. it is hard for guys and lets face it, specially no white guys. Arabs or guys from the sub continent

im not a people person, so most, if not all of my friends have approached me. so i really dont see where you are getting at that its hard for guys to make friends here...
they seem to be doing just fine.

first of all i dint say that i found it difficult to make friends, i said that i am new to this place n wantin to make friends. its jus been a couple of weeks since i've come to dubai n m settlin into my work.when you are a stranger in a place you cant got out n socialise a lot...n hey i thought internet is a good place to get started with .....

Great, you are right and you got it, that you don't have this problem of making friends.
hope all other gurls get it too... if want to.... "give you a ride" we would go anywhere ......
well, to be honest, i do suck in approaching so i stopped long ago. i prefer making friends though friends. it is much more convieniant for me as it gives me to know the gurl and talk with her an not just approach based on the look. no i'm not an angel, but as i said, i do suck in approaching :D yeah i do :roll:
