Hy people,
I am new on the board! :wave:
and I am planning to move to Dubai.
Well, my Dad already lives here for 5 years and from the first time I visited Dubai I feel strong (almost scary) connection with Dubai, with Arab world, culture,language, people.
I can't even describe it. I ignored it, but now I can't anymore and have to do something about it.
So, I started learning arabic heer in Croatia where I live and am learning all about Islam,culture and I feel so connected,so interested in it.
I amm 22 years old, didn't finish Univeristy (yet) 'cause I was trying to get inot Aacademy for drama arts - acting - but it's sooooo corrupted.
and now I want to make that big move and change my life completely by moving tu Dubai to study something completely different.My horizons widen up while staying in Dubai.
So, if you have some motivational stories to share, your point of view,please feel free to write, or just hello, hy...is enough.
I know I sound wacky,but it's a strange feeling, like my roots are somewhere in the ME... It's not easy to understand (especiallyparents ;-))

Everyone of us here is after a dream, or a goal, it seems America is no more the lands of the dreams.
Well, have a good plan and don't come here before having a fixed target or you will get lost in the Crazy Dubai.
I see you already started and knew that the Drama and Acting thing is not a good goal to be achieved here in Dubai.... At least for the time being.

Dubai is really a nice place for me at least. the multicultural society is the most interesting thing about Dubai. People are not scared from the differences among them. People here in Dubai started accepting these differences and enjoy it. You can see people from almost every where living together and being milted in the society.
So its all depend on you. If you are a person who can’t live with changes and differences Dubai is not the best place for you. But if you are some one who enjoy these differences Dubai will be the best place to head for.
About the education, Dubai is a business city. Try to do anything in business. Marketing will be perfect.

ja, evo, tragam za nasim ljudim u UAE. Vec duze vremena se bavim mislju da nadjem posao tamo i napustim svoju zemlju. Zato mi je jako vazno da pronadjem nase ljude i da cujem njihova iskustva, a mozda mi neko moze i pomoci.
