Hi all,
I've just stumbled acoss this site as my wife and I are hoping to move to Dubai this year - finding the right job permitting. However, in optomistic anticipation of that I would like to start learning to speak arabic - so, I'm hoping that someone on here has already been donw this path and could share some insight. I'm thinking of buying something for the laptop, maybe from linguaphone or the RosettaStone - the thing is, I was rubbish at foreign languages at school, so I need something noddy to start with.
On another note, regarding jobs; for those of you in the know, how prominent is the performance management and business intelligence market? This is my background and obviously what I will be looking for - but my early investigation hasn't found much evidence for this type of work in Dubai.
