Hi ppl, [/color]
Is the first time I write to this forum because I'm thinking to move to Dubai and I need some help. As all we know Dubai is in expansion and it is a place with news oportunities for everyone. I think..
As in my country (Portugal) it's now very hard to get a good job and to have a quality of life similar to other countries in Europe (like France, England, Holland..), I'm thinking to start a new challenge in my life and experiment the life in Dubai. So I need all the information you can give me. About jobs, accomodation and other kind of things.
One very important thing to me is to know if it's easy to get a temporary job for the first weeks/months. I have been two years in England and very easily I got a job. I hope it would be the same in Dubai...
I'm 27 years, PE teacher (with 5 years of experience), football coach and fitness instrucor.

as already said, the forum already has loads of info for you, it helped me, but i already had a job to come to so i was lucky.
i dont think its a good idea to come here then apply for jobs, make sure if you are coming here in a big leap of faith, to at least have a load of prospects or interviews lined up. that way, it will be much easier, and less stressful. i think.

Now is possibly a good time to be on the spot for teaching jobs - sometimes new teachers don't turn up, or clear off in horror after a few days. Schools are then struggling to find someone. Downside is that it's usually the schools you don't want to teach in.
