Hi,
My daughter and I are coming to Dubai for 2 nights on a stopover back to Australia in November. Never having been to Dubai we wish to cram as much in as possible in the very short time we have. We arrive at night, have a full day then leave the next morning.
Is it safe for us to go shopping at 9pm at night when we arrive and settle in? Also is it easy for us to get a taxi at that time of night?
I will scan through the forums to get some ideas, but any help would be much appreciated!

You can shop till whenever the shops are open. And if they were open all night, it would still be perfectly safe.
Taxi's shouldn't be a problem either.
As far as tourist amenities go... transport, leisure, hotel accommodation, Dubai has got it pat down purrfect.
So do your homework, come to Dubai and have a blast!
