Hello everyone...my apologies but I am new to forums, in fact this is my first...I'm looking forward to learning more about Dubai, it's people, culture, opportunities...I am a healthcare executive and wonder if there would be career opportunities in Dubai...I'm at a point in my life where I truly want to discover more of the world and Dubai certainly has attracted my interest...any helpful advice would be appreciated...

Welcome to Dubai Forum....hope the city will be more interesting as you learn about it. Since Dubai is a very vibrant and fast paced city, an excellent healtcare industry is a must with the ever growing population as well as the increasing tourist coming, as such there are plenty of oppotunities in the healthcare field in Dubai. thanks for your welcome and tips...I would like to check out apartment/villa rentals...there are so many distinct areas...any recommendations on which ones I should be focusing on...looking for clean, safe, upscale not to far from beach...thanks again...

First consideration should be the location (price related) and then the distance from your your work place....as everybody has been ranting in here about the high cost of rents in Dubai. 8)
