I have been here for 3 weeks, still in the process of settling down.
Will be moving to my new apartment in Marina this week.
The place is quite empty, have to buy the furnitures a piece at a time.
Unlike most others, I like to make it cosy, even though this is a rented apartment.
This is my second relocation; the first being in a Chinese region.
I intend to stay here for at least 2 years, unless i got fired or worse...
Things I intend to achieve here includes getting a boat license, further studies, driving license, driving around/exploring etc.
There are too many .. you know .

I am used to the traffic now. Its just that Dubai, or the areas around Marina/Media/Internet City, are not made for pedestrians walking. Currently I take cab to work, and walk on foot on the way from work to home.
On foot, it takes me 20min per trip.
Interchange-5 is impressive, and Heights is strategically located.
Renting a car is soo cheap (I was recommended Hertz for service & price), I will take one soon !
About boat, I have made the enquiry, and I have the learning schedule.
Will contact them soon. It's one of those thing that is on my must-do list in Dubai ...
