New to the forum. Would like to say Hi and ask a quick question.
-I am looking for opportunities in Dubai, but need to know if I would be wanted there at all. (windows systems admin w/ 5year exp.)
My nationality is Russian, but I am a United States citizen, how do people treat russian-americans there? (should I only say that I am from USA and not mention anything about nationality? or would this be OK there) Would this play any part when looking for work?
Thank you all in advance!

welcome xeno101 :)
I beg to differ. I think nationalities 'can' play quite a role. Stick to the 'American' side, especially with the MNC's.

Hey Welcome aboard!! Dubai is a nice place for system engineers. In the industry, many people in UAE consider system admins as the ultimate knowledge bank :P for reasons unknown :D
