heya - or should I say 'g'day'? Nah, that's way to cliched. I'm an Aussie but not a bogan!
Just signed up to this forum - thought it'd be a good source of useful info. haven't looked around too much yet (that goes for Dubai too!)
My head's stopped spinning a little now - three weeks after sending the first emailed application, I landed at Dubai International on a Weds night, and started work the next day, and we worked flat out for the first week.
Haven't really had a chance to do much other than mke the commute form JBR into Media City, and go to a few industry-specific Suhours - was hoping to get away and see some desert during Eid, but my reso visa won't be finalised by then from teh looks of it so i can't cross any borders - bummer.
any other Aussies in here?
