dude dont even think you can compare dubais traffic with Beijing! it takes me an hour to drive 6 Kms to work each day!

hhmm. dont sing very well, certainly dont play guitar but i did work at Gymboree for a year so i am well versed in every crap irritationg childrens song known to man.
and as for being a driving instructor, well since i was taught by the chinese and bought my license through a corrupt system of bribary... i think id be arrested for trying to teach others how to drive.
I am a motorcycle freak though and was wondering if i could ride over there or are the rules to tough? or would the site of a giant blonde girl on a bike be too much for even the most liberal city in the middle east?

Im going to start bugging eveyone for advice soon, Im an Australian girl and Ive lived in Beijing for 7 years!! yeah I know thats a long ass time.
Ive been doing lots of stuff here, but its just getting too crazy and I want to find a new country, im looking at Dubai to be my new home.
Right now im the business and marketing manager of a real estate company, before that ive worked at Gymboree and at International schools and ive done acting, radio, writing and lots of other crap. I speak Chinese and well sometime English too!
I will be around here most days talking to you lot and seeing what the hell i can do in Dubai.
Id love to meet some cool people living over there, Ive helped out many an noob coming to Beijing for the first time so i hope i can find some similarly nice people.
Im only 25 years old but im wise beyond my years and a lot of fun.

Welcome to DF
I moved to Dubai from Sydney, Australia a couple of weeks ago. I love it. The transition from Oz to Dubai has been easy so far. It's probably because Australia is so multicultural. Much like Dubai.
You probably don't even remember how it was to live in Australia. :wink: 7 years away from home is def a long time.
I'd probably focus on Dubai and give Saudi Arabia a miss for now.
