There are a few options, but the long and short of it is that without a "local" sponsor you cannot simply open a business here - you have to have a local partner. The normal "velicle" is a LLC, incorporating capital is approximatley 300,000 AED - without licences, processing and legal fees. Other option is to start in a free zone, no local partner is required, but registration is still, operating costs in most of the fz's are much higher.

3. Which steps must be taken to register a business?

4. Which type of Visa will we need?

Again this depends on where, what and how. FZ visa could be your easiest route.
