BEWARE: Bank Job Scam May 03, 2010
We are part of the Filipino Community residing and working in different emirates of UAE. We are making this post to warn all the Filipinos here in UAE especially in the Philippines regarding the case of illegal recruitment, which is now becoming rampant.

We were all victimized by a certain ROSANNA VILLES CRUZ who introduced herself as an employee of a well-known bank -a Filipina who has a Saudian live-in partner here in Dubai.

Her modus operandi is to give job offers from the bank. Initially the Illegal Recruiter, Rosanna Cruz, will ask for some personal and contact details i.e. mobile number, residence address and email address. Afterwhich, she together with a certain ERIN POWERS (who claimed to be an HR Recruitment Specialist of the Bank) will send several emails to their potential victims making their operandi realistic.

They will offer their potential victims huge amount of money for their monthly salary disbursement and will promise complete and legal employment documents. To make all these happen, the poor victim will be asked to send or give at least AED 2,500 to AED 5,200 for processing of documents and with promise to return the whole amount of money upon the first salary disbursement. To gain the complete trust of the potential victim, Rosanna Cruz will make a regular phone call and/or send email to give regular updates regarding the employment.

For the victims residing here in UAE, a special training was given and conducted in order to “prepare” them in their upcoming interviews to be held in the bank's office near the creek, Deira Dubai. While the victims residing in the Philippines were told to wait for their employment/tourist visas and plane tickets going to Dubai.

Bottomline, no interview was pursued, no visa was processed and no employment was given. And we, the poor victims, were left with nothing but our broken dreams and broken pockets. Now, Rosanna Cruz is nowhere to find but still believed to be here in UAE enjoying the money that she never worked for.

We are warning each and everyone especially our KABAYANs out there against this person. We are appealing to you also to help us (who have been victims of this illegal recruiter) to end her illegal deeds.

Since you have all the details of the persons involved why don't you persue the matter with the authorities and the bank involved. I'm sure they would not take kindly to the fact there name is being used to scam people.

First, do people look closely at the address that the messages are being sent from? No bank uses gmail, hotmail, yahoo, emirates.

Second, no bank asks for personal information or confirmation of personal information via email.

Have your reported this to your embassy? It certainly wouldn't hurt to file a report with the police.

Let's stop ILLEGAL RECRUITERS.

I APOLOGIZE for this post without communicating with the person/s involved.
I STAND CORRECTED with stating, "This ILLEGAL RECRUITER, also had another person involved. Her name is (Edited by Mod on request)."

This is to CLARIFY and to FINALIZE this MISCONCEPTION.

Now I am qouting, "(Edited by Mod on request) is NOT ACQUAINTED with MS. ROSANNA VILLES CRUZ / MRS SHEILA AL SALMAN with her acts of ILLEGAL RECRUITEMENT".

(Edited by Mod on request) is also a VICTIM and was USED by this Illegal Recruiter for her acts of self prosperity.
For those who know (Edited by Mod on request), PLEASE TAKE OFF ALL YOUR DOUBTS with this person for WE are both victims of MS. ROSANNA VILLES CRUZ / MRS SHEILA AL SALMAN.

I would like to remind all, specially filipino's aspring to work in dubai / other countries, let's be more vigilant when a person promises / invites us to have a decent job in other countries. Let's make sure about the origin and all legalities of this person.
For us who would like to work in dubai and for our safety, I can suggest to follow the tips seen in this link below.

@ moderators,
Sir's, I have been looking for a way to edit my post and unfortunately was unsuccessful. Please edit my post, deleting the part stating that Ms. Ruth Dizon is acquainted with this illegal recruiter.

Thank you so much and more power Dubai Forums!

I think you have mis-typed the name it should be november 2012 and not 2013, it is yet to come.

No, that's right. I meant 2013. The last time i talked to this wowan was last month. I even used to call her "ate" for crying out loud, i feel soooo bad about this whole thing cause i trusted her and she just used me.

She was online last friday, August 9, 2013 and i immidiately message her, i even send her this link para sampalin lang siya sa mukha. She is still using the nanacruz account. She is currently in the Philippines, living with her brother Dr. Gary Santos that has a clinic at the back of University of Santo Tomas daw.

I want to do something about this guys, I need help and details. We are planning to go to NBI and give a report. My partner is currently serving sa Philippine Coasyguard, he's an official and know a few people. He even adopted her and Em (her boyfriend then, my cousin and a victim too) in Cavite, fed them, gave them shelter when they are so broke since i've been supporting them for months to the point na hindi ko na kaya. Nag duda na siya from the start, but since Em introduce her to me, i gave my trust, and now? Putik, gusto ko siyang makita lang talaga and slap her bigtime for using me.

Singhabhishek251, can we talk in our personal email? I want to talk to you and ask you questions. Lets help ach other guys, i really want to do something.

We are also victimized by that woman last Sept of 2010. She's one of the reason why we need to resigned on our respective jobs. It was really devastating that time because we borrowed money from our family and friends just to pay her the processing fee. Although we already recovered financially, she needs to pay for what she has caused us. Many dreams have been shattered because of her.

"Punta po kayo sa ofis namin bukas ng 8am sa 5/f citystate bldg 709 shaw blvd. Oranbo, Pasig City para maaksyunan ang inyong complaint" MAs madami mag tetestify, the better.

ROSANNA VILLES CRUZ left her apartment two weeks ago, nagkaroon ng commotion dito dahil sa confrontation. Ngayon nagtatago na sya sa Manila, we already checked her NBI records and she has a lot of warrant of arrest na. So she is a fugitive now.. Kung sino man makakita sa kanya pwede nyong gawin is civilian arrest.
