15k AED in Unity Infotech DUbai..is it ok? Jun 28, 2012
Hi All,
I am from Mumbai
I am a bachelor with 3 years of overall IT work experience, I am being offered a pay package of 15kAED per month
which they say is a CTC . (includes everything i guess)

Currently i am working in one of worlds largest IT company and it pays Rs 30k per mnth, So my shifting wud be purely based on money factor..currency values :P

Would be grateful if u can guide me if this much is enough for my stay and saving :D
My Salary negotiation round is yest to happen..so guys please chip in

Thanks in Advance

God Bless!!

It is an 'Ok' salary - considering your bachelor status & years of experience.

But if you have a recent plan for marriage, then re-consider. You cannot expect a regular salary hike here like in India.

Do not consider current exchange rate as the current INR value is bad against dollers. Consider 11.5 INR x 15,000 AED

I cannot quote without knowing your exact qualities.

Regarding IT work, IT in Middle East = System Administration. Usually programming related jobs do not have much 'luxury' like the one you enjoy in India :)
