I'm agnostic but if there is a greater power then I think travel is the best way to be closer to one's creator. The universe if there is a higher power, is a god (goddess) or gods (goddesses) gift to us. I want to see the world's natural beauty. I want to see how man has created cities and unique cuisines and customs.

Latin America and Australia have the best food in my experience. It's not the ethnic cuisines and gastronomy (I prefer Russian or Middle Eastern) per se but the available fresh organic ingredients.

I love to travel around to see different cultures, way of life, kind of people, social differences...the great feeling of being able to embrace, understand, appreciate and respect other culture is just one of a kind....and doing this all while having fun, mixed with feeling of mystery, knowing that you are a stranger in that place.......it's just plain pleasure at its best!

I've been Heidi in Switzerland, Princess in Brunei, Parisian in Paris, Lady in the Castle in Scotland, Lovely Islander in the Philippines, Crazy Party Girl in Amsterdam....awwwwwww I want to be a real Bella in Italy next, then a mountaineer in Sri Lanka!

I travel because I wanna have some fun as because its a hobby for me and for some people too.. and ofcourse the best thing to do is to shop.

Food, culture (I like to visit museums and galleries), architecture, a different climate, public transport... I also get insanely excited by sexy hotel rooms and high-quality complimentary toiletries. And Richard Quest on CNN.

I agree with you everyone, but I will still add something. I will admit that every country in which I was has its peculiar smell for me. Repeatedly being in one's country I smelt some smell which immediately I associated with the given state. I love this feeling

Same response...new culture, food, people, art, history, landscapes etc.

I travel because its interesting and fun. Today I went to Mars and had a look at a 16 mile wide crater courtesy of google earth.
