today been to cinema "pirates of the caribbean" its a good one,
but I don't like 3D, this glass gets me a headache and my eyes hurts me, did anyone have something similar before..

I still prefer normal cinemas, no more 3D for me...

I loooove 3D ! Can't get enough. I had that problem the first time couple times I saw movies in 3D but then realised I was concentrating too hard to see the "3D" but if you relax and just watch it as a regular movie and the let the "3D" come to you instead of you trying to find, you'll find its brilliant. Hope that makes sense ?

BTW Mrs still has this problem, she just can't seem to let go. I did see POC4 but in regular 3d other than a few purposely added scenes I could make out it would not add anything to watch it in 3D.

Movies I enjoyed watching in 3D the most. Beowulf and Resident Evil 4. Movies I didn't enjoy in 3D. Avatar, which BTW most of the movie was in 2D with only some scenes in 3D.

Now waiting for Transformer 3 3D IMAX !

Wow, I want to see an IMAX 3D movie, haven't done that yet! I like 3D, just make sure the lenses are clean and try not to sit near the exit sign where the glare reflects into the lenses. I also sit middle and a bit back from the screen in the theatre, so perhaps this helps prevent nausea.

BTW is there another IMAX screen in Dubai other than the one in Battuta ?

3d movies suck big time. Just like you i get headaches whenever I put on those silly 3d glasses!

There are tvs and cinemas out there (not in UAE or middleeast) where you dont need 3d glasses, now that should be INTERESTING!!

I just checked our local IMAX 3D offerings and see that in July we'll have Transformers!
