The best maps to use in the car are iMAPs. They cover Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, Sharjah and Ajman, as well as the Northern Emirates.(there's 4 in total)
They are brilliant, detailed, indexed and even have 3D maps included for the areas you want to walk around such as the Dubai Creek and the Sharjah Heritage and Arts areas.
They also come in a very durable plastic sleeve. Also only Dhs25.

I like the easy to orientate yourself feature because of the 3D style landmarks on your maps Mr Imap Salesman. But for navigation when driving, I prefer the Dubai Explorer series.

Better Homes has also launched an Interactive Dubai Map at their website. You can use this interactive map to Search Property in Dubai or any where in UAE.

It seams tha tno one have hte same map to use. We do believe that all information are changing so fast that it is all most impossible to get an accurated map without mistake.
We note that even name are spell differently on road sign board. We wonder when it will armonized once for all.

Is there a more detailed city map ?
