I watched the game and it certainly was not a fluke, they deserved the victory

You see the thing with Man City is that they're inconsistent. They will play amazing in one match... the next match- not so great. This happened to be one of those days.

That is because Macini is a poor tactician IMHO. He can not adapt properly to different kind of plays/situations. I hope this will be a lesson for City. In order to win, you have to learn to loose. They will play Champions League next season and Wigan second division.

I dont know what you think is so funny about Mancini getting the sack. Are you a Manchester City fan by any chance? Are you aware of what he achieved with the club? He was well thought of at City by the fans, the people who matter. So if you cant think of anything constructive to say then do us all a favout and keep your thoughts to yourself.

The irony? What you mean that Man City were runners up in the FA Cup Final and runners up in the Premiership? That we did better than Man Utd did last season?

If the board are going to sack the manager for under achieving then may I suggest they have a list of 20 for the next 25 years as they are going to need them.

Going back to WAFC. I tweeted (yes, I've discovered twitter, @bethanismum) last night that I was sad Wigan had been relegated. One of my many followers (12 at the last count, I'm a new twitterer) who is a big Hammers fan said the Wigan fans were horrid (he didn't use that word) when the Hammers were relegated and what goes around comes around. Good riddance WAFC. I replied 'harsh'. I don't like seeing any team relegated.(except Man U that is)

Fingers crossed for West Ham and MCFC in the new season.
