Whats your record for slow postage?
I don't mean rocket launcher consignments like DD's, which are slow due to red tape. Just normal parcels or letters which are slow due to the efficiency of the UAE postage system.
I just got a Christmas card sent on 8th Dec from the UK. 6 weeks is a start anyway.

benwj, I received a letter in the UK on 16 January 2011 which was posted 5 miles away on 22 December 2010. It was a medical appointment for my daughter for 13 January 2011, nothing serious thankfully just injections.

Does mail get pilfered and stolen routinely at UAE customs? I'm concerned with mail from the US....
