Female soldiers do not form part of front-line infantry operations in any country as far as I know. The USA allows women in to its special forces, though I believe (happy to be corrected) they again are not on the front line despite being trained to the same level as men.

Women generally work in logistics, communications, medics and military police within the UK armed forces.

You forgot Israel ...

The way I see it, logistics and communication operations officers working on the field during war time are still actively and voluntarily aiding warfare... I just don't think women should participate in any aspect of warfare except in the most extraordinary of circumstances such as their country actually being invaded by a foreign force and their men dying by the hundreds of thousands, or when their entire country is being held hostage, etc.
