Can you open your mouth, put your tongue out and breath through your nose?

Can you do it FD?

Not so long ago I could sit crossed legged and put my foot behind my head.

Anyone else?

All goes well BM. Every weekend I do a run of 20-30km. During the week I do two interval trainings for about an hour or an hour and a half, thats sprinting for a few minutes and than running slow for a little bit, this is really good to build stamina. Sometimes I also run a little hill up and down for some time. I train outside as much as possible, but sometimes train inside on the belt, that is better for the knees. Next to that I cycle and swim once a week for building stamina and for general fitness. Once a week I train my stomach and back muscles.
With the long runs I am struggling with doing peepee. I am trying to figur how I donot have to do peepee when running. Last time I didnot drink an hour before, and only starting drinking when running, but still had to do peepee. Next time I will try not drinking an hour and a half before running.
Until the marathon I am not going out anymore, this becomes more difficult for me. Sometimes when I meet people in Amsterdam, I drink coffee or water now, while others just have a beer. Picturing myself victorious over the finish line until now overcomes this difficulty, but it is becoming more hard every week.

Wow FD, that's some training schedule! When's the marathon? Do you think you will keep up some form of training afterwards?

That first beer after the big day will go straight to your knees :P

Keep up the good work FD. DF is proud of you!

Thanks BM. The marathon is in April. I heard as a tradition every finisher has a "De Koninck" beer waiting at the finish line. That is something to look forward to!

My end goal is the marathon of Amsterdam in October, so after April I will take it easy and then start training again for Amsterdam. After that I will stop with the marathon I think, but will continue with 10k and half marathons.

Good luck FD. I hope there arent any injury worries along the way!

If there are injuries, just log onto DF for your one to one with DFs self proclaimed personal physician! Of sorts.

FlyingDutchman , I tried some interval training the other day, however my legs toppled :P

Turns out the high intensity circuit training I did earlier in the day took a toll on my legs haha

Thanks, but I rather consult with a pro sport-fysiotherapist instead of a dopey dope. Besides I donot consider bodybuilding a sport, at least chess playing requires some skills. :-)
