My client is the leading franchise distribution company in the Middle East for a complete range of IT and Telecommunications products and services. Due to continued growth they are looking for a Product Manager to join their young, dynamic team. Based out of Dubai the position will report to the Business Unit Manager.
This person will be responsible for increasing market share and visibility for Sony Ericsson products; achieving set annual and quarterly targets; participating in marketing events; managing the relationships with the vendor companies; pricing and stock control/handling; training, supporting and guiding sales and business development teams to help achieve targets.
The ideal candidate should be a university graduate with a minimum of 2 years experience, within the gulf region and with a multinational IT distribution company - possibly in a sale or marketing position. The candidate should have basic knowledge of products of a technical nature, excellent time management and organisational skills, excellent presentation skills are all essential for this role. Marketing knowledge and experience will also be required in this position.
