They don't taste that good compared to the salt water variety but make good pets.
They are pretty hardy. A 25cm tank will do but you can go bigger if you like.

Yeah I first got interested when I noticed they were alive. I kind of felt sorry for them as they were obviously chilled to slow them down but still very much fiesty. And they looked kind of cute.
With some more research, this weekend I am gonna Cray up, and then post photos for a naming competition.

Found out from wiki that 'Crayfish are eaten in Europe, China, Africa, Australia and the United States'. They look like lobsters.. i've not tried eating both the species.. so dint know. Dubai Knight I would suggest keeping your Krays in separate cells and ensuring that they are not fed cake as this can sometimes include files or lockpicks allowing them to cut their way through the bars. Crayfish tastes like a cross between huge prawns and lobster. Lovely done on the BBQ. ^ian^ I have no intention of eating my pets. Anyway, Operation Cray should take place this weekend. Will let you know how I go.
