A Dubai-based boutique publishing house, which specialises in unique small format magazines, is launching two mainstream consumer publications to be distributed across the UAE and is looking for two focused and target-driven sales executives. The job will suit fluent English speaking and writing sales executive looking to build up two launch publications. The company is looking for staff who are willing to work hard and who enjoy building up a business from a standing start and who are professional sales executives, who deliver on promises and can develop profitable market relationships. Based out of a brand new office on the Sheikh Zayed Road, you would be working as an advertising sales executive representing both publications.
You will be expected to build up a regional network of sales contacts in industry sectors such as electronics, IT, fashion, travel and tourism, hotel and hospitality, luxury consumer goods and must be able to hit the ground running.
Selling advertising space and sponsorship packages, you will meet agreed sales targets related to a rolling two year sales plan. You must be able to provide clear and concise sales reports and analysis to the company partners, as required. Liaising with clients on the phone, mainly face-to-face and making appropriate sales presentations when required is very important. You will also be expected to work closely with the partners to produce appropriate sales collateral to support advertising and sponsorship sales. A full background check with sales references will be required and proven sales achievements.
You must be;
• Fluent English (speaking and writing)
• Between the age of 25 – 50
• Valid UAE driving licence with car
• Have at least 3 years media / advertising sales in the UAE
• Have a proven sales network in: Travel &Tourism, Hotels and Hospitality
• Previous job references
